Most people keep a sofa from six to 15 years before buying something new. In a recent survey conducted by Furniture / Today, a trade publication of leading more than half of consumers in the market for a new sofa was replacing one that was 10 years or more.

Before buying, make sure you read the fine print of the warranty. Note what is included and how long the company guarantees the product.
